As noted earlier, WWE has made several changes to the WrestleMania card and now it looks there are changes to the Elimination Chamber show happening in a couple of weeks.
WWE is no longer advertising the Men’s Chamber match to determine the number 1 contender for the Universal Championship and WWE is now pushing Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg for WrestleMania without Reigns needing to win the Chamber match, as was originally planned. The participants in the scrapped Chamber match were Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura, Robert Roode, King Baron Corbin, Daniel Bryan and Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman.
There is no word on if they will add another Chamber match with singles wrestlers but, according to the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, WWE has a tag team Chamber match planned.
The tag team Chamber match is advertising The Usos vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode vs. Heavy Machinery vs. The New Day vs. Lucha House Party vs. The New Day vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison.
Although it has not been announced yet on WWE TV, the Wells Fargo Arena is also advertising a second Women’s Elimination Chamber match. Last week, Lacey Evans talked about stepping into the Chamber in a couple of weeks so it looks like she is/was planned to be in that match.
As of this writing, WWE has only confirmed the following Chamber match: Shayna Baszler vs. Ruby Riott vs. Sarah Logan vs. Natalya vs. Liv Morgan and Asuka. The winner of that match will face Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania.
You can expect several WrestleMania matches to come out of the advertised Chamber matches. Click here for the advertised WrestleMania card, including matches that have not yet been announced by WWE.
