In the third match of the AEW Revolution pay-per-view, “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega put their World Tag team Titles on the line against The Young Bucks.
There was tension from the start of the match between Hangman and everyone else in the match including his tag team partner Omega. Hangman was about to put Matt Jackson through a table at ringside but Omega stopped him from doing that.
There were more hard-hitting spots instead of high flying action and they still put on a great match. Fans booed offensive spots from Nick and Matt and cheered everything done by Hangman. The pace really picked up in the final minutes as the match went from great to fantastic and fans chanted “fight forever.” There was a scary looking reverse frankensteiner that ended up with Kenny landing on the back of his head off the top and Matt hit several locomotions on the rampway that led to the ring.
The Bucks also hit an Indy Taker spike on the ramp on Hangman as fans booed them. That move took Hangman out of the match with Kenny left to fight for himself. The Bucks hit super kicks and a double v-trigger but Kenny kicked out at one to a huge pop. Kenny ate another superkick and then kicked out. Matt was calling a lot of the shots with Nick showing some remorse for some of the things they were doing in this match. They were about to try the Meltzer Driver but Page got up and powerbombed Nick through a table at ringside. Kenny and Page hit the Buckshot v-trigger combination but that was not enough to pin Matt.
Hangman hit the One Winged Angel on Matt but Nick broke up the pin attempt. Hangman ultimately won the match by pinning Matt after hitting the Buckshot Lariat. After the match, Page teased hitting the Buckshot Lariat on Omega but that was not what he ended up doing. He held the ropes for Kenny and they walked out.
