AEW star went to the hospital following Wednesday’s Dynamite episode

One AEW star headed to the hospital following his latest match and that was Darby Allin.

In the headliner of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in Broomfield, CO at the 1stBank Center on TNT, Darby Allin and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley took on Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.

Near the end of the match, Allin went for a suicide dive on Jericho. However, Jericho connected with his spinning back elbow finisher, Judas Effect, that caught Allin on the side of the head and Allin hit the ground hard.

Following the show, Allin went to the hospital. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on whether that spot is what injured the rising star.

He wrote on Twitter, “Still waiting to hear back when I can get in that ring. After getting my skull smashed.” and later “we meet again,” while showing a video of a hospital waiting room.

We wish Allin a speedy recovery. There’s no word on a diagnosis or if Allin will miss any time in the ring.
