It was not audible for the fans watching at home but, according to reports from fans at the Wells Fargo Center, there were fans who turned on the Elimination Chamber main event.
Some fans reportedly left before the end of the show, which is not a common occurrence for pay-per-view events. For most of the show, the crowd was said to not be as loud as other events held in that arena.
Bryan Alvarez took to Twitter to comment on the Philly crowd.
Former WWE/ECW star Justin Credible commented on WWE killing off the crowd with the lackluster show. He tweeted, “#WWEChamber then you wonder why @AEWrestling Is sparking so much interest. Last ppv before Wrestlemania???? Come on guys. You just killed a live Philly sold out crowd. Even worse on paper view television. Blah blah #ecw #wwe”
Hopefully, WWE can turn things around and get fans excited about WrestleMania.
