Although Chris Jericho is not under contract with WWE, he’s staying connected with his friends, who are associated with WWE.
Jericho, who signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) last year, recently took to his official Instagram account where he shared this photo with Batista.
Jericho wrote in the caption, “You never know when you’ll sit next to a WWE Hall of Famer on the plane!”
Batista will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 36 weekend in April. WWE has also confirmed that the nWo will also be inducted among other stars.
“The Animal” shared the squared circle with Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match at WrestleMania 35 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network.
Batista lost the match and announced his retirement just a few hours after the event.
