Chris Jericho says coronavirus is “mass hysteria” and Fozzy shows will not be canceled

Coronavirus has caused the cancellation of several major events around the world but Chris Jericho’s Fozzy shows will continue as scheduled.

The band is scheduled to go on tour next month through the end of August and Jericho has no plans to cancel any of those shows, calling the coronavirus “mass hysteria.”

Jericho told TMZ the only way the Fozzy shows won’t happen is if “the cops tell us we can’t.”

WWE and AEW seem to be taking the same stance as there are no plans to cancel shows with WrestleMania still being promoted on weekly WWE TV and AEW issued an advisory earlier today saying that they are monitoring the situation but they have not canceled anything.

For the wrestling fans wondering if the Fozzy dates will affect his AEW appearances…none of the Fozzy shows will take place on a Wednesday night so he will continue appearing on TNT, including the Blood and Guts episode of AEW Dynamite coming up later this month in Newark, New Jersey.
