Recent tweets from released WWE stars Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have fans wondering if All Elite Wrestling is still an option for them.
Amid reports that they are headed to Impact Wrestling, Gallows and Anderson noted on Twitter that they are meeting with some of their friends from The Elite today.
After signing a new lucrative contract in 2019, WWE released Gallows and Anderson in April as part of massive talent cuts due to the coronavirus pandemic. The tweets below seem to hint that AEW may still be an option for them. If that is the case, then it would indicate that whatever deal they might have with Impact Wrestling is a temporary one. That is unless AEW is willing to work out a deal to use a team under contract to another United States promotion. The other rumors floating around suggest that Gallows and Anderson are also looking to wrestle again for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
AEW has made exceptions on some deals to allow some names like Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega to wrestle for NJPW. Check out the tweets below:
