WWE Monday Night Raw viewership continues to fall, nearly sets all-time low (7/6/20)

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw another drop from last Monday’s episode.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode drew an average of 1.687 million viewers on the USA Network. This is down from the 1.735 million viewers a week ago. The show also saw an increase in the 18-49 demo for hour two, which peaked in that category.

The May 4th show saw the lowest viewership numbers for Raw in 2020 with 1.686, which is the all-time low. Raw also dropped to a new low in the three-hour broadcast era, which started in 2012.

The 18-49 demos saw hour one had 0.49 then 0.51 in hour two, and 0.49 in hour three. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown:

Hour 1 (8 pm): 1.697 million – last week: 1.862
Hour 2 (9 pm): 1.752 million – last week: 1.751
Hour 3 (10 pm): 1.612 million – last week: 1.592

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka vs. WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a champion vs. champion was the top match on the card.

WWE also continued building on feuds heading into the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event next Sunday. Next Monday’s show will serve as the go-home edition of Raw for this PPV event, which historically gets a slight bump in viewership, which Raw needs at this time.
