Bayley and Sasha Banks call out WWE Hall of Famers for SummerSlam match

Bayley and Sasha Banks already have their sights set on SummerSlam.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions successfully retained the titles over Kairi Sane and Raw Women’s Champion Asuka on Monday’s episode of Raw.

Following the match, Bayley took to her official Twitter account where she made it clear that the tag team wants to take on WWE Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus at SummerSlam.

It should be noted that there has been no talk of Lita and Stratus working this show. It could be a way for the champs just to get fans talking. It was reported on Monday that WWE had torn up the original card for SummerSlam.

Bayley wrote the following on Twitter:

“Let’s seee, another dream match down, another victory won. Sooooo…..after we get all the gold Extreme Rules …….. we will take Lita and Trish at Summerslam. Thank youuuuuuuu #raw.”

At Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV event, Banks will challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Title while Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Nikki Cross.

Lita and Stratus were last seen in action together when they worked a tag team match at WWE Evolution in 2018 and then did a 10-woman tag team match the next night on Raw. Stratus had announced her retirement last August after losing to Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam.
