Chris Jericho tags WWE while celebrating AEW Dynamite beating NXT in key demo this week

Chris Jericho took some time to celebrate the victory that AEW scored this week against WWE in the Dynamite vs. NXT ratings war.

AEW Dynamite drew 788,000 live viewers and NXT drew 631,000 live viewers. As a result, it snapped Dynamite’s losing streak against the rival show after being topped the previous three weeks.

AEW won the 18-49 demographic and did so by doubling what NXT did as Dynamite drew 0.29 while NXT did 0.14. For a complete recap, click here.

Jericho and AEW President Tony Khan have been outspoken about how the TNT network and advertisers care about the 18-49 demographic. In fact, Jericho declared himself as the demo god.

The former AEW World Heavyweight Champion took to his official Twitter account to comment on the win and did so while also tagging WWE. He wrote the following:

“Cool that we won the overall viewers, but advertisers and the network don’t really care. All that matters is we CRUSHED it in THE DEMO! 0.29 to 0.14! #DemoGod @AEWrestling @wwe.”
