Update on Wyatt Swamp Match taping for WWE Extreme Rules

WWE is keeping the trend of doing cinematic type matches going as the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event will feature the Wyatt Swamp Fight between Bray Wyatt and Universal Champion Braun Strowman in a non-title match.

It’s been previously reported that WWE is going with the idea of “Three Faces Of Wyatt” for this feud as Wyatt has been portraying all three of his characters that he’s done on WWE television.

At Money in the Bank, Firefly Funhouse Wyatt lost to Strowman and now Wyatt is portraying his Wyatt Family character at Extreme Rules. There’s speculation that the third match could take place at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship with Wyatt portraying “The Fiend.”

WrestleVotes sent out the latest update on this match, which noted that while WWE faced delays in filming it, the match was taped on Thursday.

“After some delays, I’m told the Swamp Fight for Extreme Rules was filmed last night in Florida.”

The WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.
