Another former WWE star has joined Impact Wrestling. A vignette was shown on Tuesday night on AXS TV but it was not obvious to some viewers who this person was.
The person seen in the vignette below is the man formerly known as Curt Hawkins. He is back to using his real name, Brian Myers.
Myers was among dozens of wrestlers that were released in April by WWE due to budget cuts related to the coronavirus. Myers wrestled in Impact before as part of an invasion storyline where he was part of Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling.
The 35-year old joins several former WWE stars who joined Impact this week. Among the names who started with Impact at Slammiversary are The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson), EC3, Eric Young and Heath Slater. Those names also appeared this week on Impact Wrestling’s weekly show on AXS TV.
There was nothing said about when Myers would be making his in-ring debut.
