New match announced for tonight’s WWE NXT

As expected, WWE has announced a new contest for tonight’s episode of NXT.

During today’s episode of WWE’s The Bump, Robert Stone, who has been paired as the manager of Aliyah as of late, revealed that his client will take on Shotzi Blackheart in a singles match on tonight’s episode of the black and yellow brand.

WWE did an angle two weeks ago on NXT where Stone had offered Blackheart the opportunity to join his brand. However, Blackheart rejected the offer.

Moments later, Stone tossed a cup of coffee over his shoulder, which resulted in it hitting Killian Dain, who proceeded to throw Stone against a cart. Blackheart ran over Stone’s ankle with her tank, which she uses during her entrance.

Last week, Stone apologized to Dain and blamed it on Blackheart. Aliyah showed Stone a drawing that Dexter Lumis had made of the moment with the tank and Dain being hit with the coffee.

Dain informed Stone that if he wanted to make up the incident to him then he should get him a match against Lumis, which was booked.

As noted, WWE has hyped that NXT General Manager William Regal is slated to make a huge announcement on this show. You can see the full preview for the show here.
