Chris Jericho thinks top WWE NXT star has huge potential

Chris Jericho is very high on WWE NXT star Karrion Kross.

The former AEW World Heavyweight shared his take on the rising star in the rival promotion during a Saturday Night Special live stream on his YouTube channel.

Kross is aligned with his real-life girlfriend, Scarlett, on NXT television. Since his arrival on the brand, he has been pushed as a dominant force and a star that was put in the main event scene right away.

After scoring a big win over Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: In Your House, he now has his sights set on the NXT Title, which is currently held by Keith Lee.

According to Jericho, Kross has huge potential, but WWE needs to get him out of NXT and placed on the main roster sooner rather than later.

“Huge potential, he’s a mean-looking guy, great package him and Scarlett, they look great, great ring entrance. I think over time as he gets to become a better worker, he’s going to be very big in the WWE. They need to get him out of NXT. I think it would be better to just have him in the WWE. They got to build him up as they do but I think he’s going to be a big star.”
