AJ Styles proposes a major stipulation for another match with The Undertaker

AJ Styles is not giving up on sharing the ring with The Undertaker.

While doing an interview with BT Sport where he was asked what his fantasy season might look like, the WWE Intercontinental Champion once again brought up Taker. However, this time, he has upped the stakes.

Of course, Taker beat Styles in a Boneyard Match that aired on night one of WrestleMania 36. Since that contest, Taker made it known during the final episode of his WWE Network docuseries that he has no desire to wrestle again. Taker did note that if Vince McMahon ever needed him then he would be willing to come back.

Styles has previously talked about wanting to wrestle Taker in an actual match with fans in attendance because he has ideas for a match that he was forced to not use due to the Boneyard Match concept.

In this interview, Styles pitched a career vs. career match against The Undertaker with the Intercontinental Title on the line. He even called for the match to happen at SummerSlam.

“Fine, you want me to give you one, I’m the IC champ. Undertaker has never been the IC champ. I’ll put it on the line against you [Undertaker] and if you can friggin beat me, I’ll leave the WWE forever, but if I win, you leave. There’s the story behind that one. I want the Undertaker at SummerSlam because he hasn’t come to me and said, ‘I’m done, I’m retired.’ He just said it on TV. But he said that if Vince [McMahon] needed him, he’d be there.”
