WWE Monday Night Raw (7/27/20) viewership dips for Extreme Rules rematches, new record low for third hour

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw a minor decrease from last Monday’s episode.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode drew an average of 1.620 million viewers on the USA Network. This is down from the 1.628 million viewers a week ago. The scary number from this week was the third hour, which set an all-new record low number with total viewers at 1.463 million.

WWE is still trying to build the audience after the episode two weeks ago, which was the lowest viewed episode of Raw in the history of the show. They did so by loading up the show with two Extreme Rules rematches such as Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler and Asuka losing the Raw Women’s Title to Sasha Banks.

The 18-49 demos saw hour one had 0.52 then 0.50 in hour two, and 0.41 in hour three. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown:

Hour 1 (8 pm): 1.699 million – last week: 1.740
Hour 2 (9 pm): 1.688 million – last week: 1.609
Hour 3 (10 pm): 1.463 million – last week: 1.535

We are on the road to SummerSlam, which is considered the second biggest pay-per-view event of the year for the company. With that said, the build to the show will continue next week with more match announcements.
