Enzo Amore says Big Cass is doing well and “in the best shape of his life”

Former WWE superstar Big Cass, real name William Morrissey, has previously spoken about his struggle with depression and his battle with alcohol addiction.

Although he hasn’t wrestled in recent memory, the former WWE star who now goes by the ring name of CaZXL, is still close with nZo, formerly known as Enzo Amore.

Amore recently did an interview with Gary Cassidy of SportsKeeda where he provided an update on his former tag team partner. According to the former superstar, Cass is in the best shape of his life.

“Oh, man, he’s in the best shape of his life, bro. I saw him… I was Facetiming with him. He was in the mirror, for sure, showing me what he’s been doing. We have that type of relationship but, at the same time I’m like, ‘Come on, bro, take it easy, dude. I believe you,’ you know what I mean? ‘I know you’re putting the work in, I’m proud of you, buddy, I’m proud of you.'”

Amore was also asked whether fans will see them in the ring again together one day, but he doesn’t know that answer.

“Lord only knows what the future holds. If our palms are sweaty or our hands are strong, brother. I can’t tell you what the future holds, I can just tell you I’m blessed right now.”

Amore also talked about Talk ‘N Shop A Mania, his time in WWE, and more. You can watch the entire interview by clicking on the player below:
