WWE Monday Night Raw (8/3/20) total viewership increases from last week, third hour dips

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw an increase from last Monday’s episode.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode drew an average of 1.714 million viewers on the USA Network. This is up from the 1.620 million viewers a week ago.

WWE is still trying to build the audience and as a way to increase ratings, they brought back Shane McMahon.

McMahon’s return featured him introducing the new Raw Underground concept that will take place during the third hour of the broadcast. However, the third hour dropped. The second hour was the highest in both total viewership and the key demo.

The 18-49 demos saw hour one had 0.48 then 0.55 in hour two, and 0.51 in hour three. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown:

Hour 1 (8 pm): 1.710 million – last week: 1.699
Hour 2 (9 pm): 1.824 million – last week: 1.688
Hour 3 (10 pm): 1.610 million – last week: 1.463

The biggest match featured on the card was Apollo Crews defending the United States Title against MVP, which was the opening contest.
