Private Party changed their theme song after a suggestion from Chris Jericho

AEW tag team Private Party, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, were the guests his week on “AEW Unrestricted” with Tony Schiavone and Aubrey Edwards.

Private Party was asked how they got into AEW:  “We shot a highlight video of a combination of our matches to sum them up in two minutes.  It was alright.  Then I thought, what if we just put out a video of just our moves?  It was a one minute video, nice and simple and to the point.  Next thing you know, I did it. FTR said one day they will fight the Young Bucks and everybody will rejoice.  I tried the same thing with that one minute video and I said the same thing FTR said that one day we will fight the Young Bucks and everybody will rejoice and I tagged them.  Next thing you know, a couple hours later, it blew up.  Matt (Jackson) liked it.  He retweeted it with eyes.  It had almost 15,000 views.  We were the talk of the town at that time.  I believe it was a week later that I got a text from Matt on Twitter.  He asked if we were signed.  We said no and that we were just doing independent shows.  He said he is starting a new project up and to keep him in mind.  Fast forward to February, we got a call from Christopher Daniels saying they want to sign you to AEW.”

Isiah Kassidy talked about the Hardy Boyz:  “We are big fans of the Hardy Boyz.  The Hardy Boyz is what got me into wrestling.  There is no other tag team that’s out there, past or present, in my opinion, that’s bigger than the Hardy Boyz.  We talk to Matt about what we want to do before our match.  He gives us advice on what to do and what not to do.  After the match, he asks if we liked the match.  Did you mess up anything?  Do you feel like anything could have been changed?  We tell him how we actually felt.  He always gives us advice on how to be a better tag team.”

Isiah talked about his theme song:  “We were talking to Jericho and we asked him what can we do to be a better tag team?  He said first, you need to get a new song.  Something that fits you.  I got ideas in my head.  My friends are rappers and they can produce and make this song.  I told them what I was aiming for.  I kind of came up with the lyrics with the chorus, the shot shot shots so we can get some crowd participation whenever the fans come back.  He came up with the rest of the lyrics.  They made the song Shots.  My girlfriend came up with “Oh my God, is that Private Party?  I want to use that part when we do run-ins.”

Isaiah was asked who their dream match would be against?:  “Number 1 would be The Motor City Machine Guns, hands down.  Number 2 would be FTR.  Mark responded he would like to face The Undertaker and Sting.”
