Daniel Bryan would love to have a match with The Rock

Daniel Bryan has expressed interest in wrestling The Rock because of his daughter, Birdie.

The former WWE Champion took to his Twitter account on Thursday where he noted that he would love to go one-on-one with “The Great One” because of how many times his daughter has made him listen to “You’re Welcome” so many times.

The Rock sang this song in the “Moana” film. Bryan wrote the following:

“I would love to do a match with  @TheRock based solely on how many times my daughter has made me listen to “You’re Welcome.” And then of course it’s stuck in my head and I sing it all day.”

This was just in fun as it’s not likely that we’ll get to see Bryan vs. The Rock. The future WWE Hall of Famer has stated in the past that he is retired from the pro wrestling business. Plus, in addition to his workload as an actor, he just bought the XFL with Dany Garcia and RedBird Capital, so he’ll be busy.

Bryan is currently away from WWE television because of the birth of his new son who was recently born.
