Adam Cole is listed as big favorite over Pat McAfee in betting odds for WWE NXT TakeOver: XXX match

The opening betting odds for Adam Cole vs. Pat McAfee at WWE NXT TakeOver: XXX has been released.

Bet Online passed along the odds to us and the former NXT Champion opened as a big favorite. Cole is listed at -1250 (2/25) while McAfee is +575 (23/4) underdog.

This feud kicked off a few weeks ago when WWE did an angle on the Pat McAfee Show when McAfee was taking jabs at Cole for being a small wrestler among other things. Cole pushed over the microphone before getting up and yelling at McAfee. He also pushed McAfee’s co-host, Ty Schmit.

Fast forward to this past Wednesday on NXT, McAfee worked commentary for the main event NXT Tag Team Title Match. During it, Cole threw water in the face of McAfee. After being separated, McAfee landed a punt kick to the face of Cole.

Triple H appeared on ESPN’s Get Up the following day and issued a challenge to the former NFL punter to step into the ring for a match against Cole. The sports personality accepted the contest, which will mark his in-ring debut.

WWE holds the NXT TakeOver XXX event on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University and will air on the WWE Network. Here is the updated card:

WWE NXT Women’s Title Match:
