WWE already making plans for another NXT TakeOver special

Although WWE is building towards this month’s NXT TakeOver: XXX, the company is reportedly looking forward as well.

According to PWInsider Elite, officials are looking to hold an NXT Takeover event on Sunday, October 4, 2020. As of this writing, a name for the show has yet to be revealed. Also, there’s still no word yet on whether WWE plans to take the show on the road outside of Winter Park, Florida.

Typically, WWE holds five specials a year for the NXT brand with four of those coming on the same weekend as WWE’s big four PPV events. Just last year, WWE kept up the same trend going by holding a TakeOver event on SummerSlam weekend, then on Survivor Series weekend for NXT TakeOver: War Games.
