Pat McAfee takes a shot at Tyson Fury and vows not to look terrible in WWE NXT match

Pat McAfee is continuing to talk trash ahead of his WWE in-ring debut as he’ll take on Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: XXX.

McAfee recently talked about the preparation for this contest on his radio show. This is where he brought up how he’s in the best shape of his life and originally got into shape for his wedding.

This is where he hyped up the match as well as take shots at Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che & Colin Jost and boxing champion Tyson Fury.

The comics took part in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. Fury made his in-ring debut last year for a one-off match against Braun Strowman last year at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event where he went over.

“I will make sure that I won’t look terrible in there like the Saturday Night Live guys did. By the way, Tyson Fury, best boxer I’ve ever seen, he looked terrible in the ring. There’s been a lot of outsiders, even though I’ve worked for NXT for a few years, and I’ve had a match before.”

He recalled how he worked a match for IWA East Coast against WARPIG. He then put himself over for being undefeated in pro wrestling.

WWE holds the NXT TakeOver XXX event on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University.
