WATCH: WWE production trucks have arrived at Amway Center

WWE will be holding this year’s SummerSlam event as well as future episodes of Raw and SmackDown from Orlando, Florida’s Amway Center.

Dave Meltzer has reported that the working plan is that Raw and SmackDown will return to airing live starting with next Friday’s SmackDown. The Raw episode on August 24th will be live as well.

The assumption is that as long as everything goes off smoothly at SummerSlam then most of WWE television shows will also emanate from the Amway Center for the foreseeable future.

Jon Alba has posted a video and photos of the production trucks arriving at the arena:

WWE has yet to announce anything regarding the Amway Center. Meltzer also reported that employees and production people were told to pack up equipment from the Performance Center earlier this week ahead of the trip.

As of now, Friday’s SmackDown will be the final show at the Performance Center for the time being. For those who are wondering, WWE will continue to air NXT episodes from Full Sail University with TV tapings taking place every two weeks.

It was reported on Friday that WWE plans to install 2500 square feet of LED boards in the Amway Center so fans can appear live.
