The Amway Center in Orlando, Florida will be the new home for WWE going forward as the two sides have agreed on a deal that will see the company use the arena to broadcast its television shows.
It will start next weekend with SummerSlam and then Raw and SmackDown events. We noted earlier on the site that production trucks started to arrive at the arena on Friday.
Jon Alba from SpecSports360 in Orlando/Tampa reports that he was told the two sides have an agreement through October 30th.
However, part of the deal will not allow fans to attend WWE shows in the arena. Unless there is an amendment to the agreement, there will be no live audience for WWE shows until November.
“A rep from the City of Orlando tells me and @MyNews13 #WWE has a use agreement with Amway Center through Oct. 30 with no fans present in the building. So barring an amendment in the agreement, no live fans through October, but WWE gets arena access for all events through then.”

With WWE using a larger venue than the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, the company plans to use more production people to get back to the same presentation that they had before the COVID-19 pandemic started. This includes more bells and whistles.
