Former WWE star rips on Vince McMahon during Impact Wrestling segment

Former WWE Superstar Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins) appears to be looking to reinvent himself.

During a backstage segment that aired this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV, Myers pulled Jimmy Jacobs aside because he had something to get off his chest. This happened during a Willie Mack interview.

Myers said, “Have I always played by the rules, done everything I’ve been told, listened to veterans? Where did it get me? Where did it get me in this business? Fired with a wife 6 months pregnant sitting at home. I’m so sick of being referred to as somebody’s good hand. It disgusts me that major decisions in this business are made by some out of touch 70-year-old man in some goofy production meeting. Not anymore! I’m taking my career and this business into my hands.”

Myers was clearly referencing WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Myers was one of the dozens of wrestlers released by WWE back in April. Myers ended by saying that he is the “most professional wrestler.”
