In a shocker, Mr. Brodie Lee dominated Cody Rhodes to win the AEW TNT Championship.
This was a total squash and Cody didn’t get any offense in this match. The Dark Order walked out to the ring to celebrate with their leader.
After the match, Brodie gave a post-match interview but something happened with Cody because he didn’t get up. He was put on a stretcher and taken away as Arn Anderson was being attacked by Dark Order. In the closing moments, Dark Order pushed Cody off the stretcher and Brodie hit Cody in the face with a heavy bag.
QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes were apparently attacked backstage because they were brought out and dumped near Cody. Brandi Rhodes ran out but she was choked out by Anna Jay. Brodie emptied the contents of the bag and it was revealed that it was the destroyed old version of the TNT Championship.
