Ric Flair comments on why he may not be appearing on WWE TV in near future

Ric Flair made an appearance on the Wrestling Inc Daily podcast where he spoke about a wide range of topics including his status with WWE.

Of course, the WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t been seen on television since he was attacked by Randy Orton last month as part of Orton’s ongoing storyline with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

According to Flair, he hasn’t heard from WWE regarding a return but thinks the company worries about his health as he underwent heart surgery last year. Of course, this is an underlying medical condition, which isn’t good while the COVID-19 pandemic rages on.

“Well, God only knows. I want to come back, but to be honest with you, I haven’t been told I have in so many words, I think they worry about my health issue,” Flair revealed. “Even though, I have fallen down. I went skiing. I’ve done all of that just to show them that I could do all this. I think the bigger issue with my heart was I had that blood clot. I’m off blood thinners. How I’m still alive, we’ll have to figure this out.”

Flair also talked about Roman Reigns’ return and heel turn as well as the WWE ThunderDome. You can listen to the entire interview by clicking on the player below:
