Chris Jericho is a big fan of Roman Reigns’ heel turn

Even though Chris Jericho worked a Mimosa Mayhem Match at the All Out pay-per-view event, it didn’t stop him from a Saturday Night Special live stream on his YouTube channel.

During the stream, a fan asked him what his thoughts were of WWE deciding to turn Roman Reigns heel in addition to pairing him with Paul Heyman.

Reigns not only came back in a big way by making a surprise appearance at SummerSlam last month, but he would win the WWE Title just one week later in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat Match at the Payback pay-per-view event.

Jericho had gone on record in the past and even as recently as June that he thought Reigns had the potential to be a bigger star. However, he thought the company needed Reigns to be more of himself on television.

“I love Roman Reigns’ heel turn, I love the pairing of Roman and Paul Heyman, I think it’s great. You know that I have said this for years that Roman is gonna be even bigger than he has been…Just let him be himself and he’s gonna be an even bigger star.”
