WWE Performance Center is undergoing some changes after the company held TV tapings at the training facility in Orlando Florida for a few months.
WWE taped episodes of Raw and SmackDown at the Performance Center due to the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, but recently moved to the Amway Center and transformed it into the ThunderDome.
Training classes resumed back on August 10th and it was reported at the time by Dave Meltzer that developmental wrestlers would not be training at the Performance Center. Instead, they’d train at a warehouse right near the Performance Center, which was set up with a few rings.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that the WWE Performance Center is currently “being renovated and remodeled.”
From those who he has talked with, they noted they’ve enjoyed training at the makeshift facility and the in-house wrestling events have resumed there.
There are no further details on what WWE is changing or improving at the Performance Center during this time.
