WWE star jokes about absence from Friday Night SmackDown

Over the last few weeks, fans have been pointing out how Carmella hasn’t been seen on television in quite a while. Thus, the WWE star decided to have some fun during Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

Carmella hasn’t worked a match since the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event all the way back in May. She took part in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match along with Asuka, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Nia Jax, and Shayna Baszler.

The match, which was held at WWE HQ in Stamford, CT, was won by Asuka.

Carmella sent out the following tweets in response to fans:

Another vignette aired featuring a mystery woman during Friday’s episode of SmackDown.  This is where the company gave a new clue on the identity of the woman. Some fans think this might be Carmella.
