A DJ from local Winnipeg, Canada station Power 97 (Cam Carson) was fired over an incident earlier this month after Dave Batista cut a heel promo on the fans. As Batista walked around the ring a fan (turned out to be the DJ) said something to Batista so Batista responded. When Batista turned away then the DJ slapped Batista on the back. Batista turned around and gave him a hard shove. Later on Batista gave the DJ a finger gesture. The DJ was dragged away by security after attempting to climb the barricade.
The station had been promoting the show and there were fans there that won tickets to the show so some assumed that this might have been an angle. I am told this was not planned and the DJ involved has been fired. He has also been banned by the venue.
