WWE has announced a second title match for next week’s episode of SmackDown.
During today’s episode of Talking Smack, it was confirmed that SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits will defend their titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode on the show.
WWE previously confirmed that Big E is slated to defend his Intercontinental title against Apollo Crews on this same show.
Just two weeks ago, The Street Profits retained their titles against Ziggler and Roode on SmackDown. The finish of that match saw Montez Ford roll up Roode while holding his tights. This came after Roode had done the same thing to Ford when the heels beat the champions in a non-title match back in November.
On Friday’s episode of SmackDown, The Street Profits hosted their “New Year’s Day Smoke-Tacular.” After being made fun of, Ziggler and Roode attacked The Street Profits.
Following the segment, Ziggler and Roode demanded that they get another shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
