Mickie James made it publicly clear that she wasn’t happy with how her last match ended back in September. The bell rang before the planned finish.
During the Draft back in October, she wasn’t sent to either brand – Raw or SmackDown. It turns out that James is no longer listed as a member on the active roster.
WWE is slated to hold its Raw Legends Night episode tonight with various former WWE stars being brought back to pop a big rating. Despite James working for the company as a full-time wrestler, she is being listed as a Legend.
Dave Meltzer was asked about whether WWE retired James after the match mentioned above during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
Meltzer responded with, “I guess so because they listed her as one of the Legends and she hasn’t been back. Yeah, that’s what it seems like.”
It should be noted that James is still listed as a member on the current superstars page on WWE.com although that page isn’t updated very well as the likes of Brock Lesnar, who isn’t under contract with WWE right now, as well as John Cena, who hasn’t worked a match since WrestleMania 36, are still listed on that same page.
Alicia Fox, Beth Phoenix, Big Show, Boogeyman, Booker T, Candice Michelle, Carlito, Hillbilly Jim, Hulk Hogan, IRS (Irwin R. Schyster), Ivory, Jacqueline, Jeff Jarrett, Jimmy Hart, Kurt Angle, Mark Henry, Melina, Michael “PS” Hayes, Ric Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, Tatanka, Torrie Wilson, Teddy Long, and are slated to appear on Raw Legends Night.
