WWE will attempt to build on the ratings increase that they saw for last Monday’s episode of Raw for the next edition as the company has announced a big match.
WWE has confirmed that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be in action on Monday’s episode of Raw as he’ll take on Randy Orton in a non-title match.
The company is also hyping that McIntyre will address Goldberg’s challenge for a WWE Title Match at the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. Last week’s show saw Goldberg not only confront, but also challenge McIntyre for a title shot after McIntyre had retained his WWE Championship against Keith Lee in the main event of Raw.
In 2020, McIntyre and Orton feuded over the WWE Title. They worked a match at SummerSlam before McIntyre lost the title to Orton at Hell in a Cell in October. McIntyre would win back the title on Raw less than a month later.
No other matches or segments have been announced for this edition of Raw.
