AEW originally announced last November that it would hold its Revolution pay-per-view event on February 27th. However, that has been changed as they will present its first Sunday night pay-per-view event in March. Up to this point, all PPV events have been held on Saturday night.
It was previously reported by Dave Meltzer the show will take place on March 7th. This was also confirmed by PWinsider.com. The show is being pushed back due to the Canelo vs. Alvarez boxing event being held on the same night in February.
Pwinsider.com adds the official announcement of the move will be made by AEW in the coming week.
As it stands right now, only one match has been announced for the show, which is Sting and Darby Allin taking on Team Taz in a Street Fight. This will mark the first match for Sting in over five years as the WWE Hall of Famer last wrestled Seth Rollins at the Night of Champions event in 2015 and was not medically cleared to wrestle due to spinal stenosis.
AEW will also determine who will challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championships at this show when a Battle Royal takes place on the February 3rd special edition of Dynamite, Beach Break.
