This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw kicked off with The Miz and John Morrison interrupting an in-ring promo from WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
Goldberg walked out to simply tell McIntyre that he will be next on Sunday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Both Goldberg and McIntyre hit their finishers on Miz and Morrison.
On a related note, it was noted today by Dave Meltzer on WrestlingObserver.com that Paul Heyman is backstage at Raw. Meltzer noted that since Heyman is not involved in a storyline on Raw that he’s unlikely to appear and the likely reason he’s there is because of Goldberg. Heyman is usually involved creatively with whatever Goldberg does since the two are good friends in real life.
