Charlotte Flair did an interview with Vicente Beltrán of ViBe & Wrestling to promote Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
During it, she was asked whether WWE needs Ronda Rousey right now. The former Raw Women’s Champion hasn’t worked a match in nearly two years after having an incredible rookie year in the pro wrestling business.
Rousey and Flair had the chance to work together several times including Rousey’s last match. Becky Lynch beat Rousey and Flair to win the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All Match.
“‘Need’ is a very strong word. Do I think Ronda would add to the division? 100% but ‘need’? No. We have an incredible roster of already established stars and some of them are on the rise so ‘need’ I think is a strong word but do I think she brings a lot to the table? 100%.”
