A few weeks ago, WWE Hall Of Famer D-Von Dudley mentioned that he had been going through some health issues. D-Von chose not to say much at the time but on the latest “Table Talk” podcast, he revealed that he suffered a stroke but is doing much better now.
D-Von said, “I’m doing alright. I’m getting stronger and stronger each day. I was denying it and wasn’t saying anything before, but I’ll let it out now. I had a stroke and now I’m doing so much better. I’m back to my normal self almost.”
We wish him a speedy and full recovery.
D-Von also welcomed AEW star Matt Hardy to the show. D-Von says he named one of his sons after Matt Hardy:
“When we found out we were having a boy, I went to Matt and said, ‘I hope you don’t think this is creepy but I want to let you know I’m going to name my son Matthew after you.’ We went through hell man. We went through so many battles but yet we became friends after all the battles and the TLC matches and I felt that close to Matt and I wanted to name my son Matthew.”
Matt Hardy on working with Private Party:
“In actuality, I’m trying to help be a producer with Private Party with their matches. One of the things I’m trying to help them with is their aggression and physicality since now they turned heel to a degree. I’m trying to make them more aggressive and make them a more serious act and let them be more than just amazing athletes that are acrobats. That’s my goal at this point. I’m a hands on producer with the matches they are in now.”
