WWE has locked down a top prospect to a developmental deal.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that American Football Player Parker Boudreaux is part of WWE. He had quit his team, The University Of Central Florida, to go after his dream of being a pro wrestler.
It should be noted that Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful had mentioned the news recently as well.
Casually mentioned in here that the two sides agreed to a deal

.@Fightful is reporting former #UCF football star Parker Boudreaux has agreed to a deal with #WWE.
Parker told me about a month ago he was interested in pursuing a pro wrestling path but was weighing his options. He's been backstage at #WWENXT already.

Boudreaux was backstage at the January 20th episode of NXT. He has also been seen training with Eva Marie, who is back with the company although has yet to make her return.
Boudreaux refers to himself as ‘The Next Big Thing’ and had been praised by Paul Heyman last month on Twitter because he resembles Brock Lesnar.
His tweet is not a prediction. It’s a spoiler.
