There is something special planned for Arn Anderson and an AEW tag team

On the latest episode of Arn Anderson’s podcast, the WWE Hall Of Famer was asked who he could manage if he was able to choose. Arn mentioned FTR and said that they are doing well with Tully Blanchard and then he hinted at something that is going to happen pretty soon on AEW TV.

Arn said, “Obviously FTR is doing just fine with Tully. That was a very good selection. I had thought about for a long time possibly one day managing those guys, but man, they’re doing great. They’re doing phenomenal. To be perfectly honest, there’s something that’s going to be happening I hope pretty soon on AEW. I will keep that close to the vest until that does happen, but it will change my life 100% and it will change that individual’s life 100% as far as building a new tag team for the future. That may be the first building block and we’ll just sit on that for now, but there are some plans in the works.”

There were no other hints given but it’s worth mentioning that Arn has trademarked the name for the greatest faction in the history of professional wrestling. This may have nothing to do with what Arn was referencing on the podcast but Arn filed for “The Four Horsemen” trademark last September and he owns it and the trademark is live.

According to the trademark filing, The Four Horsemen trademark is for:

“G & S: Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities for entertainment purposes. FIRST USE: 19851100. FIRST USE IN COMMERCE: 19851100”

So if the plan is to use The Four Horsemen name for a tag team or a faction, then AEW (via Arn Anderson) would have the legal rights to use the name. Again, that is pure speculation but the trademark filing is noteworthy.
