Bad Bunny’s training at the WWE Performance Center shows that he’s taking things seriously as he gets ready to step in the ring at WrestleMania.
Last week, PWInsider reported that the plan was for Bad Bunny to face either The Miz and/or John Morrison at Mania but, as reported today by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the current plan is for Bunny to team with Damian Priest against Miz and Morrison.
Bad Bunny made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble when he performed the smash hit “Booker T” and then got physical with Miz and Morrison. Bad Bunny is a lifelong WWE fan and teaming him up with Priest is a natural fit since they are both from Puerto Rico and Priest would get the rub from the mainstream attention. It’s clear that the company has big plans for Priest as they hope to expand their Latin American audience.
The partnership with Bad Bunny has already paid off. His segments have been watched by tens of millions of people on Bad Bunny’s social media accounts and some mainstream outlets have picked up on his involvement.
