WWE has been recently signing new people to have them start starting at the WWE Performance Center.
It was reported that WWE has signed two dozen people as of late. Dave Meltzer was asked during today’s Wrestling Observer Radio how much wrestlers from NXT such as Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong are being paid.
“They are above that,” Meltzer responded regarding whether top stars in NXT are making in the $50,000-$75,000 a year range. “They’re not getting $250,000-300,000 or anything like that.
Balor, I’m sure is but I don’t think anyone else is. They’re probably in the low-1s. I know of one of the top people in NXT who has been there for a long time who should be making a tonne, and he’s making $130,000. So they’re making $130,000-150,000. Adam Cole, maybe he’s making a little more, he should be. That’s the range.”
Regarding newly signed talent, Meltzer noted depending on who you are, they’re starting at #50,000 or $60,000 per year.
