Dave Meltzer reported in the new Wrestling Observer newsletter that AJ Styles is making $2,500 per show so it looks like he’s making more money than he would have been making in TNA. Earlier this month I noted that Styles is on pace to make significantly more than he did in TNA so this report confirms that. The reports were that Styles was making $200,000 a year in TNA.
When you factor in the indie dates plus his deal with New Japan and the fact that he gets to keep all of his merchandise money and indy companies pay for hotel and travel that translates into great money for AJ.
