AEW star Anthony Ogogo had his first big break in wrestling cut short. He had a match with Cody Rhodes at Double Or Nothing 2021 and then went into a feud with Billy Gunn.
Ogogo hasn’t worked a match since June 4th on Dynamite as he was written off TV after Gunn smashed his face into a steel barricade.
Ogogo took to his Twitter account today to send a warning to Gunn while sitting in a hospital bed where he noted that he recently underwent his tenth eye surgery.
He stated that since he has so much scar tissue around his eye socket, they had to go up his nasal cavity to correct the septum that was deviated to fix the orbital, the medial section and the orbital floor through his nose.
Ogogo dealt a fractured eye socket while he was boxing. He only has 22% vision in his left eye, which resulted in eye specialists suggesting that he retire from boxing and register as blind. Ogogo then broke into the wrestling business.
