Vince McMahon has made another name change for a WWE star.
Per the WWE.com roster page, Shotzi Blackheart will now be known only by her first name Shotzi. Fans that have been watching the product for a while know that these changes can happen at anytime since McMahon has been known to make changes to wrestler names whenever he feels that it’s better that they only use one name instead of two.
For what it’s worth, when Tegan Nox was referred to as simply Nox on SmackDown on Friday night so her name may have been shortened as well but it has not been updated on WWE’s website.
Shotzi and Nox defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina in a non-title match last Friday night. Despite Nox returning to NXT last Wednesday, she and Shotzi are now considered to be full-time main roster members.
