There was a lot of buzz coming out of last night’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view and the company expects to keep it going tonight on Monday Night Raw as John Cena will kick off the show. There is also a big name returning to set up a match with Bobby Lashley for SummerSlam.
WrestleVotes noted on Twitter that WWE feels like they can keep the same energy and momentum all the way through SummerSlam. If that happens then fans can expect a lot of big things to happen on Raw and SmackDown and the ratings should, in theory, start to increase.
As WrestlingNews.co previously reported, Vince McMahon was well aware that the product got stale during the ThunderDome era and a lot of big ideas were being saved for the live crowds.
Talked to a few sources and it seems as though WWE feels like they can absolutely keep the energy & momentum created so far this past weekend and carry it all the way thru to SummerSlam. If they can, we are looking at an all time PPV event come 8/21. Time will tell.

Andrew Zarian noted on Twitter that tonight’s show is stacked. If plans don’t change, it sounds like fans will enjoy the show. For those of you that have not heard yet, click here for spoiler news on who is expected to return to WWE to challenge Lashley for his WWE Championship.
Gonna say this. Tonight’s show is stacked. I just hope they commit to the plans that are on paper.
