CJ Perry (Lana) to be part of VH1’s ‘The Surreal Life’ revival

Former WWE star Lana, real name CJ Perry, has her next project lined up.

Deadline reported today that VH1’s ‘The Surreal Life’ series is being rebooted. The show is slated to return in the fall. This comes after MTV recently rebooted the ‘Cribs’ series.

Perry is listed as one of the castmates for the new season alongside the following names: Dennis Rodman, August Alsina, Stormy Daniels, Tamar Braxton, Frankie Muniz, Kim Coles, and Manny MUA.

It’s unclear whether the show will be filmed at Glenn Campbell’s former Hollywood Hills mansion, which is the original site of the show. Houseguests will follow the same format of living together and competing in a series of challenges. The series originally ran for six seasons between 2003 and 2006.

Perry is the third castmate who was a wrestler as Chyna and Maven were both featured on the show’s original run. Rodman, best known for his NBA career, also made several appearances in WCW including a feud where he was paired with Hulk Hogan against DDP and Karl Malone.
