AEW wrestler files for trademark rights to her name

Leyla Hirsch is attempting to get the trademark rights to her name.

The AEW star did so on July 21 with The United States Patent and Trademark Office. The filing was made through Michael E. Dockins, who has helped other wrestlers to secure their trademarks. Here is the description:

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

Hirsch made her wrestling debut at Combat Zone Wrestling’s Dojo Wars: Super Show 4 event in September 2017. She also worked for wXw and Stardom before going to All Elite Wrestling.

She made her AEW debut in October on an episode of Dark. She was later signed to a full-time deal in March. Her last match came on the July 7 edition of Dark: Elevation.
