Following this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, New Japan Pro Wrestling announced on Twitter that Lance Archer will defend the IWGP United States Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi at the August 14th Resurgence show in Los Angeles.
Tanahashi appeared on Dynamite via a pre-taped promo to promote the match.
